  • Option 1 square in a square
  • Option 4 half-square triangles
  • Option 18 Canadian geese - creates the long thin star points
This pattern was adapted from my great grandmother's quilt collection that she made in the 1800's; this is a quilt that would have been given to family as they got their first "Homestead" - Looks like an intricate pattern but when you use 3 of the Options, it goes together so easily.  I have personally made over 8 of these quilts; this is an easy quilt and I like to see it in different fabrics.
