During WWII, the communities were implored to plant gardens to feed their families so that the commercial food could be used to feed the troops. So, we back tracked to the Civil War where gardens were a way of life already and named this Civil War quilt,

Garden.
If you are reading the novels you know that the appliqué quilts are for my great-great-great grandmother, Elizabeth. She made over 200 quilts in the mid 1800s, mostly appliqué and was and avid gardener.
