Soldier's Comfort Fabric Quilt Kit

   The pattern is included in this super easy stip-pieced quilt. No special tools or books are required. This is a great way to showcase the Gettysburg Address and Medallion Lincoln head fabric in the “Celebrating Abe” series.  It would look great in an office,  family room or anywhere!

          During the Civil War, the soldiers had to bring their own supplies. A quilt similar to this would have been made by their family and sent with them into battle. They traveled on dusty roads with their quilt tied to the bottom of a back pack or on the back of a saddle. Each time they bedded down, love from home surrounded them.
