Megan’s Sky (pink) is from the Megan’s Miniatures book, page 20. It is a great way to learn the new Option # 39 Trumpet block. By using this Option #39, a difficult design is made much easier. What you see is a star block, but what we sew together is a 4-patch unit using the new trumpet shape and a simple pieced sashing unit.
Be sure to study the diamond cutting and Option #39 before you start. Making a sample block is always a good idea.
