This quilt is made from the new Option 39 trumpet block™.  We also use Option 3 flying geese mixed in with some 4-patch and 9-patch units.  The quilt may look complicated buy once again, the Square in a Square® system makes it very easy.   Fast, fun, fabulous and finished™ is our motto.

This pattern is found in the new Mini R-5 ruler and book combo.  You could also use the Mississippi Memories quilt found in Megan’s Miniatures (page 28-29).  We have used the Abby’s Schoolhouse fabrics in pink and gray with a parchment background.  These fabrics not only have a reproduction look but also a reproduction feel.  We always use the Hobbs 80/20 batting in all of our quilts.  This kit will have a real reproduction look; you will enjoy working on it!
