This kit is sold out but we will keep information online for those still working on this project
4 prints from the fabric collection of “Abby's Schoolhouse” makes this beautiful quilt design called “Abby's Attitude.”
This pattern is found in the 10th Anniversary Book, page 51. It is a sister quilt to “Plum Crazy,” “Nutty for Blue,” "Midnight Madness" and our famous “Crazy for Red.”
This pattern and fabric is written for 24 12” blocks. I also recommend the 9 patch ruler. It will save you 2 to 4 hours on those one hundred and twenty five 9-patch centers!! Simple strip borders of green plaid #7016 complete the quilt.
Follow this fabric chart for color placement:
A = 7010 Large red flower = star points and main chain of 9-patch
(anywhere the book shows red)
B = 7013 Red vine = 9 patch or anywhere the book shows gray and first border.
C = 7021 Parchment = anywhere the book shows white EXCEPT triangles inside the star
D = 7016 Green plaid = inside star and border
Step 1 – Sew A-B-C
Step 2 – Sew B-A-B
Step 3 – Sew A-B-A
Step 5 – Sew red & parchment around 100 9-patch sections and green on all 4 sides of 25 centers star sections.
